Outstanding teachers share a similar way of thinking about their work. The highest purpose of their work is not to just earn money (clearly!) or get results. The highest purpose of their teaching is to add real value to the lives of their students.
Still other workshops may have breathing or breath work or sacral cranial work or acupressure, shiatsu or, well the list is infinite. They even show movies. And there are places where one can borrow consciousness raising sound and video tapes. There is a bookshop in the main office filled with tapes and books and things one might need. Some come for room and board but most are here for workshops and seminars.
European dance students begin their studies in the back and earn the position to be up front. If you feel confident and can take the lead. then do so. If you are a beginner than do not be in the front. Stay behind people that you can follow. Check out and see what is appropriate to wear to the class or function.
Juniors must respect the seniors and all should have the same heart and be harmonious. Seniors must guide the juniors with a generous heart. Now the time is critical so all must work with extra diligence. These words are as precious as gold and solid as rocks, so do not let Lao Mu repeat.
Raise your visibility - A second career success strategy for me was to consciously and persistently raise my profile, to get noticed, to have people see and experience what I can do to contribute to the organization. The most effective way to do this is to volunteer for interesting committee work. This allows you to gain visibility, learn new skills, meet and network with new people (hopefully a senior boss) and become a known entity. If internal committee work is not an option, then seek an activity in the volunteer sector. For instance, if you want to gain skills in human resources, then get involved in a not-for-profit board and volunteer for the HR committee.

III. Not realizing that you can teach school-age almost like preschool-You can use some of the same drills, stations, and equipment that you use for your little ones, but you need to give your instructions in a different voice and tone. Be sure to use many of the same props you use in preschool to teach the older ones. For examples hand and foot prints when needed, bean bag between the ankles to keep their legs together for rolls, and a ball to bring their knees up while doing tuck jumps on the trampoline.
In one such story person from a very poor background, educationally or otherwise, came to city from the rural hinterland. In search of greener pastures, he had fled his village after passing junior high school (class 8th) examination. After coming to the city he worked as a water boy in a charitable college. He lived in miserable condition away from his home with no support whatsoever. He, however, continued his studies and passed his high school examination, and thereafter in the next two years finished his intermediate (class 12). For his effort he was offered to work as a lab assistant in the same college.
golden teacher Sometimes a famous teacher lectures in Huxley or at times someone plays the congo drum or there is a classically trained musician or teacher demonstrating his technique. One of my favorite classes was with the famous Cellist David Darling and Al Huang. Electricity wildly alive in the environment. Genius at play.
golden teacher Nothing bugs these types of students more than unfair punishment and the sceptre of a 'teacher's pet'. Therefore, make sure you deal equally with all students committing the same 'offence'. Don't bring past history or reputation in to your dealings with students in a new class or year. Tell the class every student begins in your class with a 'clean sheet'. You will not remember or seek to find out their 'reputation' unless they give you cause to do that.
