Sprays are cosmetic calling cards you can paint onto stage surfaces during matches. From what we can tell, they don't carry any gameplay advantages. However, sprays are a fun way to show off (especially when you've unlocked the rare exclusive ones)! Plus, sprays are easy to use once you learn how to use them. How To Use Sprays
Sprays are a fun tool for making your presence known in Marvel Rivals DLC Rivals, but the game doesn't tell you much about how to use them. Fortunately, tagging a surface with a spray is straightforward. First, you'll equip sprays for your Hero . Then, all you need to do is follow the keyboard/controller prompts below to get spraying!
How To Equip Sprays
Each Hero equips sprays and emotes on a wheel menu that you can pull up mid-game. You can equip your Hero with sprays via their Hero Profile . Follow the steps below:
From the Home menu, select the Heroes tab .
Once inside the Heroes menu, select the Hero you wish to equip with new sprays to open their Hero Profile .
Once inside your Hero's profile, select the Cosmetics tab .
Then, select the Sprays sub-tab .
Select the spray you want to equip from the menu on the left side of the screen .
- Check off the Owned checkbox to **display only sprays you already own ** .
Once you've selected a spray, click the yellow "Equip" button on the right side of the screen .
Use your controller or mouse to place the spray on a free space in the wheel .
- After binding a new spray onto a space, you can unbind the spray by selecting the same space again .
Press the Back/Esc button on your controller/mouse to exit the spray/emote menu .
How To Use Sprays On PC
To use sprays on your PC without a controller, follow the steps below:
Aim your reticle with your mouse at the surface you wish to tag.
Press and hold the 'T' key to open your spray/emote wheel.
Move your mouse around the wheel until it highlights your desired spray.
Release the 'T' key to paint your spray on the surface.
How To Use Sprays On Console
To use sprays on your console or PC controller, follow the steps below:
Aim your reticle with the right thumbstick at the surface you wish to tag.
Press and hold the D-Pad Left to open your spray/emote wheel.
Move your right thumbstick around the wheel until it highlights your desired spray.
Release the D-Pad Left to paint your spray on the surface.
